FULL-TIME, Villarreal 3-4 Barcelona: It’s only Matchday 3, but we might have already witnessed the craziest, most entertaining match of this La Liga season. Despite some awful defending in the first hour of the game, Barça played great attacking football all afternoon and showed brilliant character to mount a comeback of their own and earn three massive points in a place where not a lot of teams will win. WHAT A MATCH!

71’ GOAL!!! Villarreal 3-4 Barcelona (Lewandowski): BARÇA RETAKE THE LEAD!!! They complete a comeback of their own as Lamine Yamal cuts inside and hits the post but Robert Lewandowski is in the right place at the right time to tap it home!!!

68’ GOAL!!! Villarreal 3-3 Barcelona (Ferran): BARÇA EQUALIZE! Ferran Torres comes off the bench to make a huge impact in the game as he plays a ball into Gavi in the box, never gives up on the play and fires it home with the left foot! GAME ON!

50’ GOAL, Villarreal 3-2 Barcelona (Baena): Villarreal complete the comeback as Pedraza is allowed to run free from back to front and find Álex Baena all alone to put the home team ahead with a great shot into the far corner.

HALFTIME, Villarreal 2-2 Barcelona: A wild first half ends all square after 50-plus minutes of high-quality attacking football and pretty awful defending from both sides. Barça started poorly but improved as the half went on and had the lead for a while, but they need to be much better at the back if they want to all three points in the second half.
